We design personalized breeding and foaling programs that simplify every step. With full housing capabilities and hands-on veterinary oversight, we can handle as much—or as little—of the process as you need.
We offer cutting-edge reproductive tools tailored to your mare, stallion, or breeding program. Take advantage of the most advanced techniques available and take your breeding program to the next level.
Our reproduction program is led and managed by veterinarians who understand how physiology, performance, and overall wellness shape breeding outcomes. This ensures precision, safety, and the highest level of care at every step.
In reproduction, timing is everything, especially when coordinating shipped semen or embryos. We keep you consistently updated because staying informed isn’t just important for good results—it brings peace of mind when it matters most.
OUR APPROACH
Expertise, Integrity, and Technology -
Working Together Toward Your Breeding Goals

ICSI & Oocyte Collection
ICSI begins with oocyte (egg) collection performed at our facility. Collected oocytes are then shipped to the reproductive laboratory of your choice for fertilization and embryo development. We work with several established equine ICSI laboratories and are happy to provide recommendations. After a development period, embryos may be frozen for future use or shipped back fresh to our clinic for transfer into a recipient mare.
ICSI can be performed year-round, including when a mare is not cycling or is already pregnant. When looking to maximize embryo production, ICSI is most often the best option. We are happy to discuss the pros and cons of ICSI for your individual mare and breeding program.

Embryo Transfer & Flushing

The embryo flushing and transfer process begins with breeding the donor mare, most commonly by artificial insemination, though live cover can also be used. We manage the entire breeding and flushing program in-house, including monitoring ovulation and synchronizing recipient mares to align precisely with the donor. Approximately seven to eight days after ovulation, the donor mare is flushed in an effort to recover the embryo from the uterus. The embryo can be then transferred directly into a suitably timed recipient mare. These embryos can also be frozen for future use in certain situations.
Artifical Insemination

Artificial insemination allows mares to be bred from semen collected from any stallion, which can be shipped fresh or used from a previously frozen collection. When a mare is coming into heat, she can be brought to our facility where we closely monitor her cycle and follicle development. At the appropriate stage of follicle development, the stallion facility is notified so semen can be collected and shipped. When frozen semen is used, timing becomes more critical, and the mare is evaluated more frequently to ensure insemination occurs as close to ovulation as possible. Following insemination, the mare is monitored for ovulation and appropriate uterine clearance. We manage the entire insemination process in-house and work with you to select protocols that best suit you and your mare.
Foaling Management

Our foaling management services provide structured monitoring and veterinary oversight during the final stages of pregnancy and delivery. In the last weeks of gestation, mares can be brought to our facility where they are closely monitored in outdoor stalls as they approach foaling. When delivery is imminent, mares are transitioned to indoor foaling stalls to provide a controlled environment for birth.
Following delivery, both the mare and foal are examined and monitored to ensure normal progression through appropriate post-foaling milestones. Our goal is to intervene as little as possible to support a smooth, natural delivery while allowing for timely veterinary intervention if concerns arise, providing reassurance and continuity of care during this critical period.
Stallion Collection

We offer comprehensive stallion collection services at our facility, including phantom training, live cover assistance, and semen collection and processing for shipping or freezing. Stallions may be housed on-site during periods when frequent collection is required or throughout the phantom training and collection process, allowing for consistency and careful management.
With veterinary oversight and computer-assisted semen analysis, we evaluate semen quality and collection parameters to support reliable, repeatable results. Our goal is to provide accurate assessment and thoughtful management to facilitate dependable and consistent semen shipments throughout the breeding season.
Recipient Mares

We maintain a small herd of recipient mares at our facility to support embryo transfer programs. Recipient mares are selected and managed with attention to reproductive soundness, temperament, and overall health. Our team monitors cycles and implements synchronization protocols to ensure each mare is appropriately timed for embryo transfer.
By managing recipient mares in-house, we are able to efficiently coordinate transfers and provide continuity of care through early pregnancy. Recipient mares may be leased and taken home, or remain at our facility throughout pregnancy and foaling if needed. We are happy to work with you to develop a plan that best fits your breeding program and individual circumstances.
