THE PROCESS
Local and Flexible
As a small, locally based practice, we are able to adapt to the specific needs of your breeding program and specific donors. Being local simplifies logistics—from hauling cattle to coordinating embryo transfers—making each step more efficient. You work directly with our team, allowing for clear communication and flexible coordination, so we can focus on what matters most: helping you achieve the best possible results.
Results Based Pricing
Our IVF fee structure includes a small setup cost with per-embryo pricing, so your investment is aligned with outcomes rather than failed attempts. You’ll receive a simple, transparent invoice from a single provider, making costs easier to understand and manage. This approach allows you to plan and budget embryo production effectively—whether embryos are destined for a sale or your next calf crop.
One Team at Every Step
With a full in-house IVF laboratory and donor housing facility, every part of the process—from animal management to embryo production—is handled here by our team. This streamlined approach simplifies coordination and logistics, lowers overall costs, and reduces the risk of miscommunication or misaligned goals when dealing with multiple providers.
Simplified and Seamless Experience
We strive to make every aspect of embryo production and transfer as simple and efficient as possible. Our full-service facility allows us the flexibility to handle as much—or as little—of the process as you’d like. By reducing logistical complexity, we can focus on delivering results that move your breeding program forward.

BY THE NUMBERS
Built on a Proven Foundation
Our clinic may be new, but our embryo production system isn’t. For more than six years, our team has used this exact process to deliver reliable, high-quality results. We work with the same advanced technology used by several IVF laboratories across the country, collaborating to maintain strict quality control to ensure consistent results.
These numbers show years of successful embryo production by the StillGrass team—you can have confidence in a system with a proven track record.
SERVICES
Building the Next Generation
We’re more than a veterinary clinic—we’re a full breeding facility built around advanced technology and convenience. With long-term housing options and a complete IVF lab on site, we can manage everything from AI protocols and ultrasounds to producing high-value embryos right here. Whether you want expert guidance on your farm or a fully hands-off experience at ours, we provide the tools and partnership your breeding program needs to excel.
IVF & Oocyte Collection

Our full in-house laboratory gives you simple and convenient access to a streamlined IVF process. We collect oocytes from donors at all stages—even pregnant animals—and tailor collection protocols to each individual. Donors can be housed at our facility for recurring cycles or hauled in for a quick collection. Whether you’re freezing embryos for future use or transferring fresh for maximum conception rates, our proven IVF system helps you put impactful calves on the ground.

Embryo Flushing & Transfer

Conventional embryo flushing is a long-proven—and often more economical—way to multiply valuable genetics. Donor cows are superovulated, bred, and flushed to recover high-quality embryos that can be transferred fresh or frozen for future use. Transfers can be performed at our facility or on your farm for large-scale projects. For many operations, conventional flushing offers an efficient and strategic complement—or alternative—to IVF. We work with you to design programs that match each donor with the most effective embryo production method.
Artificial Insemination

From a single show heifer to your entire cow herd, our AI services are designed to support any breeding program. We work closely with you to create a plan that fits your operation, including customized breeding schedules, synchronization protocols, and ultrasound or follow-up checks. We can house animals at our facility for heat detection and breeding, or we can come to your farm to AI your whole herd.
We also offer on-site semen storage and can receive or ship semen as needed, making coordination with semen suppliers seamless and efficient.
Donor Housing

Our donor housing program is designed to make the embryo-production process simple and efficient. We currently provide about 20 acres of managed pasture, with an additional 60 acres coming as we expand. While your donors are with us, we place them on individualized reproductive schedules tailored to their age and stage—maximizing collection intervals, stimulation protocols, and embryo output.
With donors on-site, we manage everything: monitoring cycles, administering treatments, performing IVF or conventional collections, and maintaining ideal nutrition for consistent results.
